Well, well, well... looks like the season is NFL winding down but for some fantasy owners, it is really heating up. If you have made it this far, you probably don't need help on the waiver wire unless you had a player that went down to injury in Week 15. Justin Fargas & LaDainian Tomlinson are two key backs who were banged up this past week and you might need to scour the waiver wire once more to find an adequate replacement.
LT looks like he'll be fine, but he might be rested just to make sure he is ready to go for the playoffs. Turn to Michael Turner..."Strike that, reverse it" - Willy Wonka Quote... Turner popped his shoulder and will most likely be held out in Week 16, so the Chargers will turn to the Oompa Loompa who can carry the weight, Darren Sproles. Sproles is a top choice for this week's waiver wire and there are a few other names that just could help you win that title.
Darren Sproles - Might see all 2nd half action, or the remainder of the plays from scrimmage after the Chargers lay it on to Denver on Monday night and LT becomes the #1 Cheerleader for the little guy. (San Diegan Bias here)
Lamont Jordan/Dominic Rhodes - They will probably split time but are worth a look as the Silver & Black have been running the ball well this year. Losing Fargas was a blow to them, but what are they really fighting for. They want to see if these guys are worth holding on to, but if they don't put up #'s with there first handful of carries, the Raiders might just turn to their future; Jamarcus Russell and see what he can do through the air.
Reggie Bush - Many owners dropped Bush when he tore his MCL. It is worth a shot to see if he might be lingering out there as he might be active this week as the Saints are fighting for the playoffs.
Kenton Keith - (see Darren Sproles above) The Colts really aren't concerned about the two games moving forward as they have already locked up a first round bye and the #2 seed for the AFC playoffs. Dungy has said that he will play his players just like normal as two years ago he started to sit players as they were locked in for the playoffs, then they came out super flat against the Steelers in their first game and lost. With this being said... I do think that Addai will be rested in the second half and the "go to guy" will be Keith. Only a true desperation move for owners who are tremendously hurting for a RB #2 or Flex, there should be better options available though.
