According to ESPN, Reggie Bush "definitely will not play" in the last three games of the 2007 regular season. Some might see this is shocking news, but we saw it coming. Bush has not been particularly solid in the run game for 2007 and would suit better as a slot receiver moving forward. Bush averaged just under 49 rushing yards per game and totaled 581 rushing yards on 157 rushes for the season.
Dr. James Andrews did confirm the injury and it looks like Bush will NOT go under the knife in preparation for 2008.
If you drafted Reggie, you most likely are not in jeopardy as your season probably ended yesterday.
Compared to Marion Barber, who has received the same # of rushing attempts this year; Reggie averaged a measly 3.7 yard per carry with 4 rushing TDS vs. Barber's 4.9 and 8 ground TDS.
Barber definitely clipped the Bush!! 2007 Draft results would of figured differently.
Side note: Bush was a better option than Barber in PPR leagues, but only by a few points.
